Melody Walker

Melody Walker is a multi-talented music educator with a traveling ear that has led her around the world to Brazil, India, Japan, Ireland and Europe in search of song. Raised in a musical family in the East Bay, Melody began piano lessons at age 6, guitar at age 13 and can’t remember a time when she didn’t sing. She was raised on folk, rock and pop, and later delved further into classical, jazz and world music at Humboldt State University, where she received her B.A. in Music. Melody is currently teaching out of her studio in Richmond, CA, touring, and performing locally.
